three bonerack broads on the after work bus
snapping gum and slapping sandals
none of them yet 16
they're laughing at an oriental man
who is nodding to sleep with his head bobbing
they mock him all the way to the station
and he catches them pointing at him
these chicks may have the tits
and the fake chanel shades
and the pink skin
but they don't have ten hours of metal slivers
under their fingernails
they haven't failed a drug test
or had to work hung over
they haven't seen the bad end
of a manic-depressive foreman
or a pair of cracked safety glasses
they haven't failed and lost
like sleeping man has
and
they haven't considered
that guy in the corner
licking his lips
